In the book stuck in neutral we see a boy named Shawn who is retarded and is not able to move a single limb in his body we are showed from the perceptive of Shawn who tell the whole story. Shawn although not being able to speak he is capable of think and he is actually really smart but isn't able to express it even if he tries. He also is has amazing memory like anything he has heard he could remember any conversation anything spoken for the a movie,show,radio,song etc.... ANYTHING. In the story we follow him as he is goes threw a normal day and everyday is the same also he suffers seizures and has lot threw a day. He isn't bother by them he actually likes them because he get like a feeling or more like leaving his body and being able to move around and do whatever he want. I really like how the story goes threw his experience of being able to do nothing and being a burden to everyone as he says. And in the story he learn that is father wants to kill him but but because he hates him no his father loves him to death I mean any father love there children and he loves his son but he doesn't understand that Shawn isn't in pain but thinks that he is suffering long story short in the end we don't know if Shawn dies it end for the read to intpert it the way you want I personally don't think Shawn was killed.
