ReplyDelete2. Nick saw Gatsby outside by the peer because Gatsby was going to try to get a chance to see Daisy, or he was invited to some tea I think
3. Nick goes to the party with some guy, honestly don't remember him since he was forgetable
4. Tom breaks Mrs. Wilson's noes because Myrtle was saying Daisy's name without a care in the world, trying to establish herself as Tom's woman or something

1). Nick is from the middle eastern. (Chapter 1)
2). Nick was going back home when he noticed someone alone outside from the mansion, Mr. Gatsby of course. He was going to say hi but he didn't because Mr. Gatsby seem comfortable being outside. This all occurred at the end of Chapter 1 when Mr. Gatsby stretched his arms toward a green light. Later on in Chapter 4 we realize that Mr. Gatsby purposely bought a house in front of Daisy's home, the person he is in love with. However, she is married and this is important to know because we learn more about how this influenced his decisions until now currently in Chapter 4 in the book.
3). Nick goes to the party after he's invited by Gatsby and soon encounters with Jordan. They start having a conversation, funny thing, Jordan confides to him about Gatsby himself, which seem to be just rumors. Gatsby takes this in and after analyzing what he has been hearing from many people, he sees that there is many contradictions. .
4). This book took place in after the Great War (WWI). In the 20 century, there was a hierarchy in these social classes. Of course, light-skinned men who are wealthy are on the top of this social chain. In their own homes, next came the wife. Myrtle's attitude changes when she's with Tom and this causes her to be a cocky and say Tom's wife's name. His wife is still more important than the mistress. Tom gets annoyed and after telling her to stop she doesn't. So, Tom, being drunk, gets angry and takes it out by hitiing Myrtle. In result, he breaks Myrtles nose.
5. Adriana is Adriana. Adriana is a name and its one of the names our dear friend was named. Now, Adriana (the person who sits next to me), is a friendly girl who built her own persona. Why is Adriana, Adriana?
