GATSBY CHAPTER 9 NOTES AND THOUGHTS

Nick tells this two years from Gatsby's death Nick also tells us how Gatsby funeral went and it went a little like this: All of the people who had gone to his party didn't bother to come Daisy and Tom didn't even call or send condolence for his death (although it was partly their fault he died) Meyer Wolfsheim is told to come but doesn't want to be involved apparently The piano guy doesn't want to come because he has plans on the day of the funeral and even asks Nick if he could send his tennis shoes that he had left in Gatsby's house.
