My First impression of my book called "Stuck In neutral" by Terry Trueman is that its pretty good. So Far that I have read is basically a 14 year old (almost 15) boy named Shawn he has a special talent that he able is to recall everything he has heard like everything. But he also is (in what book says) is retarded like not being able to talk,walk,move,and control his muscles because when he was born got brain damage also he thinks that his dad wants to kill him. So far the book has really gotten attach to me because he talk about how he can't talk and everyone thinks he's dumb and can't do anything but he could think and is actually really smart but can't express because of the condition he has (C.P). I personally feel the same way in a way you know. I sometimes have ideas in my head that i'm not able to express or explain and that makes my relate to the character Shawn in a way but he also about reality and how he wishes things were different but he needs to go back to reality that is never going to happen. I also feel that way at times.
